Hi Guys,

 I wanted to update you on the progress Tonica is making. So far we have had 4 ultrasounds and each one is reporting the baby’s progress as further along than our initially projected conception date, so the whole 11 week 2 day thing is suspect. J

 The baby is at an interesting point in its development because it will be doubling in size in the next 3 weeks.  Last time I sent this out the baby was only 7-8 mm in 6 weeks it has grown to 46 mm (1.8 inches) as of last Wednesday. Here are a few pics:

The head is on the left.  He/She is curled up below mommy’s belly.

Because this is kind of a bad picture (a newbie tech took it) I also included other pictures of baby’s at this age would look like.

 This picture is the most accurate in terms of what Tonica’s looks like right now.

As you can see the head is still much larger than the rest of the body.  The legs and torso will begin a growth spurt soon and will look more like a tiny human. Next week the baby will look something like this:
